WELCOME TO THE WATCH & LEARN, INC. NEWSLETTER!

Peter Vogl

Peter Vogl started playing guitar in 2nd grade and played in several bands throughout his years at Okemos High. He studied classical guitar at the University of Georgia and at James Madison University and taught classes as large as 110 people at both James Madison and Mary Baldwin College. Peter moved back to Georgia and began playing the club circuit in Atlanta as a soloist and with a multitude of bands. Peter has performed on stage with talents like Michael Bolton, Cee-Lo, Kelly Price, Steve Vai, Earl Klugh, Sharon Isbon, and Sleepy Brown.

As an avid and long time guitar teacher, Peter felt that the teaching material available to him was inadequate. There was a serious void in quality lesson material that would provide his students with much needed reinforcement of the skills and concepts he was striving to teach. The match between Peter Vogl and Watch & Learn was a perfect fit. After 15 years of teaching, Peter had the knowledge and proven methods for teaching guitar. He had always had the desire to offer his teaching ideas on a national level and has been able to achieve that goal through such products as The Guitarist’s Chord Book, The Guitarist’s Scale Book, The Guitarist’s Tablature Book, Intro to Blues Guitar, Intro to Rock, Guitarist's Lick Book, and the Let’s Jam! CD Series. These are all part of the Guitarist's Jam System, which was featured last month.

The Banjo Primer Jam CDs
by Geoff Hohwald are a 2 CD set that play rhythm to all of the songs in the Banjo Primer Book at 5 different speeds. This companion product to the Banjo Primer is the perfect way to increase your playing speed, improve your timing and make that critical leap between practice and actually jamming with friends. The tracks start with the banjo playing each song to orient the student. The banjo then goes away, letting you play along with a real bluegrass band. The Banjo Primer Jam tracks will have you playing at your peak in no time.
Introductory special - 50% off when you order 6 or more, $7.50 each.
